— The Brief
Following the publication of my piece, I was recruited to the Folly editorial team to review the thousands of publications received each year.
— The Writing Challenge
Having trust in my knowledge of the Folly brand was key, so I could select pieces that showed promise, even if they still required heavy editing. I also needed to identify how pieces could fit with other selected visual and written works.
— The Result
On average and over two years, I read over 200+ submissions. We are currently finalising the selection for Folly's 4th edition. Folly was internationally awarded at the 2025 Best Indie Publishing Awards and the 2024 CLMP Best Literary Debut Awards.
