— The Brief
Lawyers are often seen as expensive, unaccessible and too-good-to-care. There was one way to flip the narrative: show the human behind the bill. That's how the JBM Law Pod was born - a podcast I created, produced and edited so people could access legal advice without the price tag to see who was on the other side of it: someone who actually just wanted to help.

— The Production Challenge
To make a podcast catch, it needed to be entertaining and easy to listen to. That meant helping our lawyers understand that they needed to speak simply, without the jargon. Then, there was another catch - while we wanted audiences to get access to some useful tips, we also couldn't break laws about dispensing legal advice.

— The Result
Within 3 episodes published, we got 250 listens and 40 new followers organically. We were also the only law firm in New Zealand with an active podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts & Rova.
