The Brief
Vegan Mag is New Zealand's primary news source for all things plant-based. They needed a multi-faceted writer who could engage with interviewees, make veganism approachable to a country known for its dairy and meat industry, and convey key data in a way that was digestible.
The Challenge
On top of using my interviewing skills to connect with a range of personalities, and show a different side to veganism than sometimes painted online, I had to flex my research skills to share information that was reliable. This was a great challenge for someone who loves people just as much as numbers.
The Result
A range of editorials and interviews, published over the course of two years and showcasing New Zealand local celebrities, such as Flip Grater and Two Raw Sisters.
