Wonder Journal is an indie New Zealand publication putting focus on real-life stories that inspire awe. For my submission piece, I spoke about growth through discomfort. And what better experience than my first pole dancing class to tap into just how liberating embarrassment can be?

This publication is all about non-fiction that is real, but also inspiring. I had to share a story that came from my heart and was vulnerable, while also retaining my tongue-in-cheek tone of voice.
